Abi decided to become a full-spectrum doula to support pregnant people with evidence-based, personalized, and thoughtful care. With warmth, she aims to collaboratively foster positive, loving, and client-centered pregnancy/birth experiences with her clients.

She is currently a volunteer doula with Connecting Young Moms at Beverly Hospital where she works with a team of social workers and health practitioners to support teenage and young adult mothers. She also works as a Research Assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Division of Women’s Health — focusing on trauma-informed care.

Abi holds a BA in Economics and concentration in Spanish from Cornell University. After graduating, she worked for 3 years in NYC at ideas42, a behavioral research and design firm on projects for International Planned Parenthood and the World Bank.
